Free Day at the Museum

On Saturday, Target sponsored a "Free Day at the Museum" at the Las Vegas Natural History Museum. Although they had lots of exhibits that started with the statement....."Millions of years ago....." We ignored them and enjoyed the animals and other cool things offered there.

This is one of my favorite pictures of us all. It was so cool looking, but Felicity was sad for the zebra....
Here, the kids could see sting rays and small sharks up close. There was a funny sign that read "please do not stick your fingers into the tank........for the safety of the sharks!!" LOL.
Blake, who is SO into sharks, really enjoyed this part.
Watch out Felicity, that shark is about to take a bite of your head!!
This was a cute little Koi pond with a turtle in it.
As we have studied snakes this year, this was a totally cool exhibit for the boys to see. Here they are "presenting" the python.
In the dinosaurs exhibit, there was a button to press to make the Dinos roar. Well my kids weren't to sure about the T-Rex (he was loud), so Brittany stood by him for my picture instead.
OK, Really? A dinosaur-CHICKEN? What are they going to dream up next?
A hut in Africa....
Hippos
A bison
Blake as a safari scientist
Grant as a micro-biologist
Felicity was digging for fossils. There were so many exhibits, it is well worth the trip!
