Church picnic at the Date Farm

Our church took a trip to the China Ranch Date Farm on Saturday. Who knew that only an hour and a half drive down Sandy Valley's back road, there was an oasis in the desert?

OK....

So the kids HAD to have a date shake!!
It was melting quick!
There were some beautiful plants there
And a cool trail over the creek...
And the trail has intresting signs which explained the medicianal (I know I didn't spell that right!)uses for all the plants growing there!
The kids went up front to explore!
And I took pictures of everyone who walked by...
Bill
Glenda
Yevonne
Lou
Pastor Jermey
and Christy
At the end of the trail, the kids acted like they were fishing. The water did have fish and crawldads in it.
A modest museum
And a gardening shed
And of course, we had to make do with a table from God Himself......
And everyone shared what they brought, of coures NOBODY went hungry! Not in this church!
Blake had to find something to climb!
And we had to get a group shot of all the kids!
And then the kids had to make a clubhouse out of the palms
Grant, how do you make thoes faceses?
A cool house
Yet another car goes off the cliff
And the wildlife was friendly!
All in all we had a great time!
