We carved pumpkins this year(we haven't for a few years) and enjoyed the best roasted pumpkin seeds we've ever had!! Although, getting there was a painful journey....

Now that Scott and I cut off the tops, the kids had to pull out all the goopy mess from the inside out. That was the long, painfull process. When the kids were babies, I used to pull out a handfull of the goopy stuff and put it in their hands. All three of them cried. My kids don't do goopy messes!!
This was the happiest face I got during the goopy mess stage!!
