So my post about our California trip was so long, that I had to break it up into 2 posts. This one is just about Legoland. What a blast that place was!!! We went on a desinated "homeschool" day, so we were able to enter the park for $21.00/person instead of the normal $72.00/person!! God is so good!!
This was the first ride we went on, the safari trip. Each and every animal , and anything else cool for that matter, was made of Legos!!
Lego Giraffe......
Lego monkey.....
This was the "Fairy Tale Brook" It was sooo cute, and all the different Fairy Tales were represented here.
This was also the first ride Jilli could go on, (they were quite strict with the height restrictions!!) She LOVED it, and didn't want to get off.
I've always wondered what it would be like to put my head in a lion's mouth....
Here are the kids with their legoland driver's licences. They had to obey the laws of the course before they got one.
Don't know how this one got here. This is Felicity excited to get in the park.
This was a BIG place. We often had to pull out the maps and decide where to go next....
They made the whole Las Vegas strip out of Legos. It was one of the coolest things I've seen. The details were so accurate!!
Me celebrating the fact that, FINALLY, Jillian fell asleep!!
OK, so the above pictures speak for themselves.......totally awesome!! This one is the New York skyline, complete with the new Freedom Tower that is being constructed in place of the Twin Towers, on the left, behind the Statue Of Liberty.
This is a real Crane.
Jillian was finding out how legos are made in the factory tour......
Blake in his own speedboat. He was sooo fast.
.
Scott and Grant were behind Felicity and I. Let's just say it didn't stay that way.......our boat quit working in the beginning of the track. We hitched a ride on a few other boats, but eventually the ride attendant had to don the water pants, get in the water and push us all the way to the end. lovely.lol
If you look just beyond Scott, Jilli is sitting next to him. This was one of the few rides made for her age.
Yet another boat ride. They had quite a few.
Did I mention how beautiful this park was?
All in all, we had a blast. We would defiantly go again. A word to anyone who does go, they WILL let you bring in your own food, so be sure to pack your own lunch, and maybe bring a few bucks for some treats. The food was VERY expensive!! I highly recommend renting the double stroller for 15 bucks.......worth it in every way, weather you have a baby or not!!
