Chicken Wash

So, to get our chickens ready to show at the Clark County Fair, we had to wash them up a little. You know, wash them, clip their nails, shine their waddles.....lol!

Here is Blake dipping his hen in the soapy water. It was kinda diffulcult, because you had to keep their head above water and keep them from splashing you at the same time.

Then came the blow dry.........

You can't tell cause it's in the shade, but Blakes hen is getting her nails clipped, and her legs shined.

This hen cracked us up. She looks dead, but she was really just super relaxed.....All in all, we had fun and learned quite a bit about showing chickens.
