Boy's movie birthday party

We started this day out nice and calm with a visit from Aunt Sara, and Grandma Cindy. They were unable to attend the party, so they brought over gifts earler in the day.
The movie night theme just wasn't complete without popcorn cupcakes (recipe below)
We had the snacks pre-made, to make the movie going experience smoother. Each kid got a Capri sun drink, a small amount of candy, play-doh, a glow stick bracelet, popcorn and a bowl of nachos.
 The chili and cheese
We had to make more cupcakes to make sure there was enough
Thanks to the church, we were able to borrow a chip warmer. It gave it a more authentic feeling.
All the kids were trying to get their "cars" parked so we could start the movie.
It may not look like it, but we had 20 kids here!
After the movie, we did presents.
 Present mania!!
I don't know if he was happy or not.........:)
All in all, we had a great time!

Popcorn cupcakes
you'll need: 24 baked cupcakes-1 bag of mini marshmallows-yellow food coloring-a clean paint brush-24 1 1/2 inch x 8 1/2 inch popcorn wrappers (I just made my own, and color copied them)-Frosting

Cut each mini marshmallow in half, and squish them back together. once you've done that, dilute some yellow coloring with water and brush onto cut marshmallows to make butter look. Toss.
Frost cupcakes, and put wrapper around the paper lining. Top with marshmallow "popcorn". Enjoy!
